Services for Veterans - Job Opportunity

Posted 13 days ago by Alicia Frith

Hello,

My Name is Trelinda Shorter, from Logistics Health Incorporated (LHI) and we are looking for a provider in your area to perform services for Veterans.

Who is LHI?

With support from a national network of providers, LHI provides Care for Mission Critical, for the United States Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs and our commercial clients. LHI works with quality hospitals, clinics and practitioners interested in seeing local patients covered by those contracts.  We’ve been in business since 1999.

Through the Veteran Benefits Administration Medical Disability Exams contract (VBA MDE), LHI supports a Department of Veterans Affairs need to provide medical assessments for Veterans with service-related injuries, so they can receive the benefits they’ve earned.

We are currently looking for NPs, PAs, MDs, or DOs to perform on-time evaluations for these Veterans. Exams are easily completed electronically through the LHI web-based portal to ensure timely submission to the VA (this requires internet access in exam rooms.) We would also be seeking to verify some of the following ancillary services at your site:

  • GENERAL MEDICINE
  • X-Rays
  • Echocardiograms (CPTs 93306, 93307, 93308)
  • DLCO; A test of the diffusing capacity of the lungs for carbon monoxide. DLCO, also known as transfer factor for carbon monoxide or TLCO (CPT 94729)

A few things to know:

  1. 1.  Your Office will not determine disability ratings, , create a line of treatment nor prescribe medication.
  2. 2.  We schedule Veterans at your facility solely based on your availability.
  3. 3.  You have the right to refuse work at any time.
  4. 4.  We pay a “flat rate” for No-Shows.
  5. 5.  You are paid for services directly from LHI and receive payment within 45 days.

Should your practice be a good fit for our customer needs you will be asked to review our Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). The NDA does not obligate your office to perform services; it simply protects both of our organizations’ proprietary information. To provide you with the NDA, which can be signed electronically, I would like to set you up with a username and a password. Once complete, you will be able to review all remaining portions of the agreement, including reimbursement rates.

For additional information about LHI, please feel free to reach out to me or visit our website:  http://www.logisticshealth.com.

Please respond to this email letting me know if your organization is interested in pursuing a Contract with LHI.

If you decide this isn’t something you’re interested in at this time, please provide a response as well so I can take the necessary steps to remove you from our Call Listing.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you.
